Looking back he probably starting doing this from about 10 months. But stretched him to 13 months. But I too cried when he stopped. But must admit I don't miss the biting, or the early square boobs and breastfeeding dramas along the way!Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09975067534120702937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3259641832046374224.post-78062799527355563342010-06-09T17:59:37.013+11:002010-06-09T17:59:37.013+11:00I know what you mean. He cut down to two feedings, and then one night after I had put my boys to bed, I realized my youngest didnt have his night feeding. He wanted nothing to do with it in the morning either, and thus was the end of an era. I was sad, but this stage is fun too! Great read, thanks! But I was, like you, glad that it was her choice (I have never been great at imposing my will on my children). And I'd been pregnant or feeding by then for, oh almost 4 years. So it was nice to have my body back. And, like Fred, after weaning she became more cuddly.

Fred self weaned too, at 20 months or so, when I got pregnant with Una. She didn't like the taste anymore. I was relieved she weaned because my boobs were ouchy but I missed her coming up with her funny little whispery questioning voice and hopeful face, saying 'booooo?'Penni Russonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17956453252195293843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3259641832046374224.post-14272494586298278782010-05-12T21:41:03.663+11:002010-05-12T21:41:03.663+11:00Ha!
